• You will hire me as your personal web designer. A person you can call, meet with (if you are local to me), submit changes to throughout the process and most importantly... you can hire me for any other work that you need related to your website as well.
• I will talk you out of a tree! We're going to do a professional business analysis and determine your needs, your budget, and I'll let you know when you're considering technology that you don't really need. Find another web designer that does that!
• After we determine your business needs I will give you a written proposal that you and I will work on until it is a document that both if us are happy with. There will be no hidden costs, and all of my estimates for contracted outside service are cost plus so you can rest assured that even the variables will never grow out of control without you knowing exactly what you're getting into. My promise to you is NO SURPRISES!!!
• I will brand the website with a custom, unique, hand made logo for you at no additional cost that you can use for anything else you chose, delivered in any format that you need and any size that you request!
• I will optimize your website to rank as high as humanely possible in Google. I will explain the process and how it works, but I will also work with you to advertise your website at cost if you need more or local market saturation.
• I will create the content for every web page that is included with the web template. I will work directly with you to gather the information, edit it, submit it to you for review and make any necessary adjustments until you are satisfied with the final product.
• I will use Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and server-side includes (SSI) to allow you to make future changes very simple in the future. I'll explain this powerful technique to you in detail when we talk later on, but trust me... this alone is worth hiring a professional web designer.
• For very reasonable rates I can and will install any web technology you want on your website! If for example you want a shopping cart that is professionally done, I will work with other vendors to give you exactly what you are looking for at cost plus pricing (cost plus a very reasonable hourly rate).
• I will register your domain name and pay for 2 years of hosting, and you will be given the keys when I am done. I work for you, and I don't hold ANYTHING back from my customers.
• You will have your own email address (you@yourdomain.com), and I will configure your email client to send a copy to any email address you desire and even show you how alerts can be sent to your cell phone alerting you that "you've got mail!"
