If you use Firefox for your internet browser, you can have a slim side bar available to track all of your social network yammering! It also can install on your system tray and give you live updates whenever your friends make posts too! I’m telling you, this is an awesome tool for free 99!

You can stall this on your computer or even your iPhone! I use this to keep me up to date with all of my social network, networks and you should too!

Even as I am typing this I am watching Facebook updates streaming in so I don’t even have to move from what I am doing to stay in the know.

Bottom line is this

This makes Facebook and Twitter easy. No more checking even 10 minutes to see if people have responded to your posts, with Yoono installed on your desktop (what I recommend) you will get up to the second updates without even pausing while typing.

How cool is that?

Get yer Yoono on too @ http://www.yoono.com

I use one web hosting service EXCLUSIVELY and that service is Host Monster.

You can shop around, in fact I encourage you to do so, but if you consider everything I know of no other hosting service that comes even close. Here’s why…

1. Customer service. I used one hosting service a few years ago and was happy until I called the 1-800 number because I needed help. In fact I was so disappointed with how I was treated I immediately droped them and looked for a new hosting company and lived with the down time until I got it right. When your website is down you need great customer service not email support or technicians that you can’t understand. Host Monster is the best in customer service, and in my book it is the number one reason you should consider them.

2. Features. Host Monster has everything you need to run a great website and they are on it when it comes to keeping everything they sponsor (Joomla, WordPress, etc.) up to date and secure. They have the full suite of available services via SimpleScript, as well as a host of other services that round them out to number one. Again.

3. Uptime. I haven’t experienced ANY downtime wtih Host Monster. Uptime is good, downtime is… time to look for a new hosting service!

4. Cost. Host Monster has special all the time. They don’t charge you set up fees and once you have one domain registered, it is very easy to add new domains (at $10 each without having to pay the full price for entire hosting package. There may be cheaper services, if there are I am not aware of them, but at $5.95 a month (the ad below says $6.95 a month, but they are running a special right now) you can’t go wrong!

5. Instant on. When you purchase a domain name and get it hosted through Host Monster you have instant access to your website. They’ll call you afterward to confirm that a human being registered the domain name (prevents bots from auto-registering domains), but you get the benefit of the doubt in the meantime.

6. cPanel. cPanel is the most widely recognized hosting panel available. We chose it for its flexibility and security. Try it for yourself!

7. 100% US-Based Support. All of their support—phone, chat and email—is handled by their Support Engineers in our Provo, Utah HQ!

8. A long list of features. Go here and see for yourself —>>> https://www.hostmonster.com/cgi/info/hosting_features.

9. You can make money. As a Host Monster affiliate you can make $65 per signup!

10. Free stuff.

Unlimited Space & Bandwidth
Host Unlimited Domains
Unlimited E-mail Accounts
Free Domain
cPanel Control Panel
$75 Google Adwords Credit
Free Site Builders
Free Online Stores
WordPress, Gallery and More

You can’t find a better service anywhere, so what are you waiting for?

The most compelling reason to use WordPress for your website, in my personal opinion, is that my customers don’t just get a website (that they can’t edit), but also access to a powerful dashboard that I can train them to use in hours instead of weeks or months

In WordPress you have two basic choices to add content to your website: Pages and Posts.

Pages

Pages are exactly what it sounds like, webpages. Examples of pages are your “About” page, a page that shows a map and gives directions, a staff directory or any other static (doesn’t change) display of information about yourself or your comapny.

Posts

Posts are where most of you updates will occur and are displayed on your homepage or blog. A good example of what posts look like on your website can be found on my “Blog” link in the main menu at the top of this page.

The main advantage to using using posts is that it shows visitors to your website that the information there is fresh. Have you ever been to a website and wondered if the information was recent, accurate and still true? Using posts on your homepage or a blog page shows visitors with a date stamp that you were on your website updating it with your most recent information. Additionally, posts are an excellent way to communicate in a more personal way to your customers. By speaking to issues relevant to your business in the form of informational articles you demonstrate your expertise and mastery of the business the visitor is contemplating using.

I prefer to use WordPress to build websites because it enables my customers to edit the content of their website without any knowledge of HTML on complicated and persnickety web publishing tools that cost hundreds of dollars and leave you at the mercy of the schedule of web designer’s schedules.

The beauty of any CMS (Content Management System) is that all of the work that you pour into your website is databased and flexible.

Databased is better

When your posts are catalogued in a database the primary benefit is that the information is categorized and can be displayed in very different ways if you choose to upgrade the theme of your website (change the way it looks, feels and navigates). After a little tweaking to make sure everything is where you want it to be, the database (mySQL) has everything right where you left it when it was in it’s old skin.

Look at it like this…

How would you like to be driving a car that looked newer the more you drove it, and if that weren’t betterer enough, a car that also allowed you to completely change by just snapping on a new body!

That is precisely what WordPress, Joomla or any other CMS does for you website!!!

Flexibility

One of the reasons so many folks are using WordPress is that it is flexible. As I explained above with regards to the advantages of databasing your content, flexibility means exactly what you’d think it should mean as you work with a system that allows you to keep it fresh and new (without having to learn HTML); but there’s more…

Flexibility with WordPress means that you can add plugins and widgets. In plain English that means that you can add “things that show up on your website” by just adding a plugin or a widget. Don’t worry, you don’t need to know how to do this, I’ll take care of that for you. But add ins such as custom calendars, social media comments, and literally thousands of other options available (most are free) mean that you get a very chic website that has all the latest bells and whistles.

Are you still using paper business cards?

Me too!

I would never suggest that any serious business man or woman ditch the standard business card. I will however suggest that you consider an eBusiness card!

An eBusiness card is an online/electronic version of the one you carry around in your wallet or briefcase, but it contains a lot more information and makes contact you as easy as clicking a hyperlink. You can also hang documents (your resume, product brochures, specs, etc.), add links to websites relevant to your business or interests, photographs and much, much more!

Here’s what my eBusiness card (aka BusinessCard2) looks like…

If you want one too, just click here and follow the instructions for your free eBusiness card:
